Renovating 10 Homes in 10 Weeks

On Sunday, February 16 at 9/8c, HGTV will begin airing the show Extreme Makeover: Home Edition. Per HGTV, the series will showcase great stories, inspired volunteers, and mind-blowing home renovations (including interior, exterior, and landscaping) for families who give back to their communities. The Sunbelt Rentals team has been honored to partner with Extreme Makeover: Home Edition to provide equipment and service for every home makeover, utilizing resources from 14 locations across California and Utah.

Throughout this process, our team supplied every piece of large equipment necessary as well as rental equipment expertise to assist in the accomplishment of renovating ten homes in ten weeks. The array of equipment for this season’s builds included: forklifts, light towers, manlifts, concrete equipment, skid-steers, and more. 

In addition to a staff of mechanics ensuring jobsite-ready equipment, our team worked together to procure equipment and organize on-time pickup and delivery to all locations. 

Team members from several specialty businesses remained on site to keep power supplies running at all hours and maintained equipment as needed. In addition, to offer a space for much-needed breaks during the builds, we installed flooring and air conditioning in the volunteer tents. These contributions helped prevent project slowdowns under the extreme deadlines. 

We felt honored and proud to partner with the show and enjoyed providing value to our communities with Sunbelt Rentals equipment and services. Everyone worked together to accomplish one overarching goal of building a home for a deserving family. Experiencing an extreme task come to fruition and the positive impact it had on the family was something our team will never forget.
